PedalCraft trades and sources goods across borders — buying, supplying, and acting as commission agent — alongside our own line in bicycles and e-bikes, imported, assembled and manufactured in Lisbon.
We trade general goods across borders, and separately run a full bicycle and e-bike operation from import to after-sales.
General trading of goods in and out of Portugal — not limited to any one product category.

Bicycles are one line we run ourselves — but our registration and our network cover general goods.
PedalCraft buys and sells across categories, not just bicycles. If a buyer needs a product sourced from abroad, or a supplier needs a route into Portugal or the EU, we can act as the connecting party.
We work both as a direct importer/exporter, taking ownership of goods we trade, and as a commission agent, sourcing or placing goods on behalf of a client for an agreed commission rather than buying the stock ourselves.
We buy and sell goods ourselves, handling the import or export directly.
We source, connect, or place goods on a client's behalf for a commission — without holding the stock ourselves.
Our Portuguese registration covers non-specialised wholesale trade, retail, retail intermediation, and bicycle manufacturing — giving us the legal basis to trade general goods as well as run our own bicycle line.
That breadth means we can move fast: a shipment can land, get sold on, or get built and checked in-house, depending on what the deal calls for.

How orders from PedalCraft, Unipessoal Lda are packed, dispatched and delivered across Portugal and the European Union.
Orders are dispatched from our premises in Amadora, Portugal, using CTT (the Portuguese national postal service) for smaller parcels, and partner shipping and courier agencies for larger or palletised items such as assembled bicycles and e-bikes. The carrier used for a given order depends on the size, weight and destination of the shipment, and will be confirmed at checkout or by email once your order is processed.
We currently ship to addresses in Portugal (mainland and islands) and to the rest of the European Union. As all deliveries take place within the EU single market, no customs duties or import VAT apply on top of the price shown at checkout. If we later extend shipping outside the EU, any customs duties or import taxes charged by the destination country will be the responsibility of the customer, and this policy will be updated accordingly.
Orders are normally processed and handed to the carrier within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. Bicycles and e-bikes that require final assembly or a pre-delivery quality check may take longer; where this applies, we will let you know an expected dispatch date.
These are estimates, not guarantees. Delivery times can be affected by customs checks, weather, courier network delays or remote addresses, and are outside our control once the parcel has been handed to the carrier.
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, dimensions and destination of your order, and are shown at checkout before you confirm payment. Bicycles and e-bikes are typically shipped part-assembled and boxed; where a palletised or freight courier is required, this will be reflected in the shipping cost quoted.
Where the carrier used provides tracking, we will send you the tracking reference by email once your order has been dispatched. If a shipment does not include tracking, we can still liaise with the carrier on your behalf if there is a delay.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery — that is, once the parcel is delivered to the address you provided, or collected by you or a person you have authorised to receive it. Until that point, PedalCraft bears the risk of loss or damage in transit.
If your order has not arrived within the expected window, or arrives visibly damaged, please contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date so we can open an enquiry or claim with the carrier. Please keep the original packaging and take photographs of any damage where possible, as the carrier may require this as part of a claim.
Please check your delivery address carefully at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer, we may charge a reasonable re-delivery fee to cover the additional shipping cost.

Your right of withdrawal, our returns process, and your statutory guarantee rights as a consumer in the European Union.
If you are a consumer buying from us online or at a distance, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days, without giving any reason. This right applies under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Portuguese law transposing it (Decree-Law no. 24/2014).
The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you, or a third party you named, take physical possession of the goods (or the last item, where an order is delivered in several parts).
To exercise your right of withdrawal, tell us clearly by email or through the contact form on this site — your name, order reference, and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw. You do not need to use a specific form, but you may if you prefer state simply: "I wish to withdraw from my purchase of [item], ordered on [date], order number [number]."
You must send this notice before the 14-day period expires. You then have a further 14 days from the date you notify us to return the goods.
Goods should be returned unused, in their original packaging where reasonably possible, with all accessories, manuals and documentation included. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics — for example, a bicycle may be inspected and test-fitted, but not ridden outdoors or damaged.
If you withdraw under this 14-day right, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless the item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described — in which case we cover the return shipping cost. For bulky items such as assembled bicycles, we will confirm the return method and cost before collection.
Once we receive the returned goods (or evidence that you have sent them back, if earlier), we will issue your refund within 14 calendar days, including the original standard delivery cost you paid. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent them, whichever is earlier.
Refunds are made using the same payment method you used for the original purchase, unless we expressly agree otherwise with you. No fees are charged for the refund itself.
Under EU law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised — for example, a bicycle built to a bespoke specification agreed with you individually. Where an exception applies, we will state this clearly to you before you complete your purchase.
Independently of the 14-day withdrawal right above, all goods we sell benefit from the statutory 2-year legal guarantee of conformity under EU Directive 2019/771 and Portuguese law. If a product turns out to be faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction, or, in some cases, a full refund — free of charge. This legal guarantee is in addition to, and unaffected by, any manufacturer's warranty offered by or other brands we distribute.
Contact us with your order number before sending anything back, so we can confirm the return address and, where applicable, arrange collection for larger items such as bicycles.
